Classes, training sessions, homework, conditioning, there was many things going on in the life of a dhampir every single day. No time to relax or jut hang around, but Lily was used to it. She didn't mind the training, it kept her active and awake, but she could do with a few less classes, especially those she was not doing so good in. Which were a few.

Today was like any other day, tiring. her muscles ached after the day's hard work but she knew it would be worth it in the long run. Their was a slight breeze blowing in the mountain region. She liked it up here the view wasn't splendid but it wasn't hideous either. Lily saw students of all ages walking around and chatting. "Hello." she said to a few people who she had talked to before.

The lights of lamp flickered as she sat under a tree pulling her legs toward her as she looked up into the sky. It was such a wonderful night. Looking at her watch she saw it was soon to be dawn. "Being on a nocturnal schedule is no fun." she said to herself pouting slightly. She liked watching the sun rise, which was hard when you were suppose to be doing homework or sleeping.

Alissandra had laid on her bed thinking about different things and sat straight up. Sighing, she thought to herself she needed to get herself some fresh air maybe that would help. As she got up she went through her drawers and slipped on an outfit and fixed her hair brushing it out she had worn it straight and long. Alissandra didn’t have that many friends in the school she just practiced on her power she was a spirit which was unheard of. Walking out she decided to go to the courtyard taking a book with her. She opened up the doors and there was a brisk of fresh air that blew past her. Alissandra shivered and rubbed her arms. There were a few people out but none she talked to or said a word to. They nodded at her knowing who she was she guessed she shrugged her shoulders. She was very selfish and spoiled she blamed her father on that one mostly but she had always gotten what she wanted from it.

Raising her head walking past them not knowing where to go, she didn’t want to be alone where there wasn’t a dhampir in sight. She looked around seeing a girl sitting underneath a tree she looked at her curiously. She was a dhampir Alissandra slightly smiled at the thought in her head. Walking up towards her, they were supposed to protect the Moroi after all. “Could I sit here?” She asked her sitting on the other side of the tree opening up her book. Thinking to herself why did she have to ask that she shook her head and looked at the girl and put on a smile.

Lillian's eyes took in every little detail as possible. Knowing your surroundings was essential when it came down to guarding someone, or fighting. Spotting weapons like big sticks or places where to hide someone or use to an advantage in the fields. Everything was important, but here in school there wasn't much to see. Just the same old buildings and trees, and guardians popping in and out patrolling keeping every student safe and sound, well... mostly the Moroi, who were targeted every second of the day by Strigoi. She suddenly wondered how that felt like knowing a foul creature was out to drink your body until it was dry. It was a pretty quiet night she noticed scarcely anyone sticking around in the courtyard most were heading back to their dorms though curfew was an hour or two away. She shrugged and just continued taking in the sights.

Lily noticed a blond girl walk towards her, a slim taller one, a definite Moroi. "Of course." she replied with a smile. She patted down a spot next to her scooting a bit so the girl could lean on the trunk of the tree. She noticed that un-like all the other snobbish Moroi girls she was really nice. "I'm Lillian Leveque by the way, but you could call me Lily." she said as she faced the girl, sliding a strand of red hair behind her ear.

When it came to others Alissandra had a bit of a trust issue with other people. She looked at the girl and sat down next to her where she had patted. Normally Alissandra was really snobbish and why was she being so nice. She shook her head at the thought and rested her book down upon her lap as she sat down and put her legs out in front of her and crossed them leaning back up against the tree trunk. She took her hair and pushed it on the other side of her left shoulder. She listened as Lillian spoke and introduced herself. She was actually just sitting there since she was a Dhampir and wasn’t really going to talk to her but, I guess she had to. Maybe she would actually make a friend out of this but were Moroi and Dhampir’s actually friends?

Smiling and running a hand through her hair. “Thanks.” She said. She spoke quietly a little looking over to her. “It’s nice to meet you Lily.” She said to her. Alissandra was a tad bit nervous she didn’t know why. “I’m Alissandra Drozdof I’m part of the twelve royal families.” She said being kind of proud. “I rarely ever do this but you can call me Alissa or Lissa.” She told her. She never did that at all. But, there was something about this girl that made her think that it was okay to do that. She just got a vibe from her. When you had a feeling about something and it was supposed to be good.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Miss Drozdof." Lily replied. She thought she sounded very polite and formal, she smiled at that thought since it wasn't really her style to to be serious unless it was a time of great need, or when she was in guardian training mode, but what amazed her most was the fact that one of the twelve royal family members was talking to a mere dhampir in training. Maybe with more people like her the vampiric world would be such a better place without all the corruption a power seeking fools. She wondered how it felt to have such an honor as being one of the noble houses, she guessed it must be intimidating, but their was also the feeling of being proud. Just like when a guardian gets to guard a Moroi with such high status.

'I rarely do this.' that struck Lily, she had the feeling this girl was indeed snobbish but maybe that was the role she played to look like her part as a noble but she was actually nice. "Well Lissa what brings you out on a night like this?" she asked. She knew what her answer was the stars and moon the night sky was just so wonderful in its own way. "Don't you just like staring up at the sky? I do especially the moon there's something mysterious about it that draws me in? Have you ever felt like that?" she said looking at the moon once more. It was a crest, a quarter moon no doubt, white with a silver glow to it. An amazing site for her dark brown eyes to take in.

“Like -wise Miss Leveque.” Alissandra nodded to her and put on a bright cheeky smile on. The girl was really nice, this was the first time ever she talked to a dhampir like this. Normally she just had them protect her and what not. But, Lillian seemed different there was something about her. Sure everyone thought Alissandra was snobbish and sure she was and she did have her moments. She just hadn’t actually sit down and talk with anyone she was just in her own world.

Alissandra looked up at the night sky and daydreamed a bit. What would life be like without being a Mori? She thought quietly to herself. Sighing at the thought she heard Lillian continue to speak. “Being underneath the stars and just being out at night like this it well relaxes me. I love laying underneath the stars it’s my favorite thing to do. Besides, I was really bored up in my room.” She told her and shrugged.

“Yeah like you could watch the sky for like a million hours and you can get lost in it. I’ve felt like that.” She agreed with Lillian. “The sky is so pretty I’ve always wondered what it would be like going up there I could only imagine.” She shrugged as she pulled down the back of her shirt. “It’s a beautiful night tonight as well, I was going to read but I gave up.” Alissandra laughed. “I always have my head in the books anyway.” She said. Alissandra never really did anything fun. "So what about you my new found friend."Alissandra smiled.

Lily wondered how the night sky looked from the mountains. The school was surrounded by mountains yet they never went up and hiked one. She guessed their was too much threat of Strigoi out their to risk a fight on a cliff or in a small area. Being small gave her an advantaged in a small area unless their was another small person fighting her. The sky was truly a beautiful sight

“I always have my head in the books anyway.” Lily laughed at that. Unlike Alissandra she never had her head in a book unless it was a good fiction one, or a good novel. She wasn't much of a reader not even for school. She knew she had to start studying more to get her grades up, or else she'll never become the guardian she wants to be. The thing was she wasn't really good at focusing on her work when it got dull the simplest things could distract her from her work.

"I mostly spend my time training or just wandering the school." she replied. She wondered whether the Moroi had to train using their powers, was that exhausting? It took a lot of focusing that's for sure. She thought about her training. Sure it was a lot of work and pain but the adrenaline rush she got from it was amazing.

Lily stood up and shook her legs, she held her right arm out to Alissandra. "So you want to sit here all night or go do something else?" she asked her as she looked down at her. What should they do play a prank on someone, wander the campus, sneak into a building, there were so many possibilities. "You get to pick." she said in a bell like voice.
